5th Grade Math

In 5th grade, math takes on new challenges and gets even more interesting! Students will become masters of multiplication and division with bigger numbers. They'll also unlock the secrets of decimals and unravel the mysteries of fractions, including mixed numbers. In addition, they'll explore volume and shape their understanding of coordinate planes and 2D figures.

This journey will give your child a solid foundation for the challenges of middle school. Join us and help your child gain confidence and mastery in these essential skills.

Topics Include:

Multiplication, Division, Order of Operations, Decimal Place Value, Fraction Operations, Geometry/2D Figures, Coordinate Planes, Measurement, and Data, Volume

The Details

Duration: 9 months
Number of Sessions: 2 per week
Session Length: 50 minutes
Payment: Tuition Model (9 equal monthly payments, setting up automatic payments is strongly encouraged)
Registration Fee: $50
Refund/Cancellation Policy: We ask 24 hour advance notice. Two cancellations are built into the the cost of tuition. Students may miss two sessions without any penalty. (It's like getting two FREE classes!) Make-up classes may be possible; however, they are not guaranteed since they are contingent upon tutor availability. We are unable to offer refunds.
