Does your life look great on the outside, and yet you feel lost and empty on the inside?
Are you rushing through your life, behaving reactively, with responses that feel beyond your control?
Do you wake up tired, feeling heavy, and it seems like no amount of coffee can get you through the day? Is that extra weight not shifting and you blame it on metabolism or age even though you are barely into your 30s or 40s? And when it comes to your period, does it feel like a drudge rather than your body’s natural process?
I know that feeling. Because that was me 8 years ago.

Hi! I’m Adina Violet, health coach, aromatherapist and feminine energy enthusiast with a focus on women wellness.
My journey to health started in my early 30s.
I thought I was healthy, I called myself a pescatarian, did a bit of exercise… and yet was I wrong!
After a breakup, I ended up feeling so lost. To avoid my pain and lack of fulfillment, I turned into a social butterfly. Living for the nights, I slept just enough to maintain my day job. My mantra became, “I’ll sleep when I die.”
Within a year, my health suffered tremendously. I was so out of touch with my feminine rhythms. My face was covered in acne; my moods were constantly up and down. My periods were so painful that I would faint or throw up if I didn’t take a painkiller on time.
The doctors were unable to find a cause and suggested I take birth control pills to resolve my “hormonal imbalance.” Later, they said I had endometriosis and even suggested surgery.
But my body knew better! My body was shouting: “YOUR LIFESTYLE DOES NOT SUIT ME!”
I just had to tune in and listen. And that was the hard part.
When life is externally directed, we forget to read our body’s internal messages. I forgot. Instead of slowing down, I pushed myself further and further into illness.
I had to dig deep. It took me two more years to come to terms with the idea that my lifestyle needed to change.
I decided to take my health into my own hands and begin listening to my own body.
In the beginning, I followed all the health trends out there, from intermittent fasting to ketogenic diets to very strict ways of eating. I felt guilty the moment I ate a piece of cake or something that didn’t fit my new philosophy. I was often bloated after eating and suffered from constipation.
Then I decided to educate myself.
I read dozens of books on health and alternative therapies. I studied natural skincare formulation and clinical aromatherapy. Finally, I enrolled in a holistic nutrition course, earning a health coach qualification as well as hormonal balance certification.
Through my studies as well as my journey, I realised that health doesn’t only mean nutrition. True health and well-being has many facets, and living life in alignment with our essence is key. Illness is not random, and most often it’s created in the energy body before it shows in the physical body. That’s why, healing my past traumas, changing my beliefs, and mastering my emotions and mindset were all a key part of my healing journey.
I learnt to fall in love with and began to thrive in each stage of my monthly cycle
I switched to a natural way of eating that supports each stage of the month, as well as my digestion and liver function, and brings me joy at the same time.
Most importantly, I learnt to love myself on a level that I never imagined was possible before, and which has transformed every aspect of my life since. That’s why self-love has become a crucial part of my work.
My PMS symptoms not only improved but they vanished completely! Instead, I began to experience how truly delicious the feeling of being in my hormonally balanced body can be.
Today, in my late thirties, my health is better than ever. I feel more energetic, positive and content than I was at 20. Even when life throws curveballs, I am equipped to access that interesting and peaceful place inside that balanced hormones bring.
