From soaring through the skies as an aerobatic pilot to building a successful copywriting career, I’ve had my share of thrilling adventures and entrepreneurial wins. Here are just a few of the highlights:
- I'm an Aerobatic Pilot with a Private Pilot Licence. Currently on the tail end of completing my Commercial Pilot licence. I started flying in 2021, and it's a huge love of mine.
- At 20, I launched my first entrepreneurial venture Mink Magazine (we were 1 of 10 global emerging digital magazines at a time when blogs barely existed). I ran it in Sydney & Melbourne with a creative team.
- Two years later, I launched the successful Career Confessions blog; a 12 signature question interview series featuring celebs, entrepreneurs and executives on how they achieved professional success.
- I was the former Managing Editor for print publications: Aspire and My Business magazine. Within 4-months of rebranding Aspire, I took it from a digital to print mag—without print experience.
- Anthill Business Magazine nominated me a Top 30 under 30 Entrepreneur in 2008.
- From 2015 to 2019, I hosted The Monica Kade Podcast with 68.4K global listeners. I interviewed Lewis Howes, Chase Jarvis, Kate Northrup, The Oprah Winfrey Leadership Academy for Girls, Guy Kawasaki, Lisa Messenger, Bethany Hamilton, Luke Hines, Scott Gooding, Sheri Salata & others.
