I wanted to earn money, doing the work I loved & I wanted to do it on my terms.
Simple right?
Except I found myself stood between two very different campsites.
On my left was a gorgeous field. The people were in it were fabulous, the setting was picture perfect. In this campsite no one talked about money, It was vulgar. No one shared secrets, that was gossip. In this field each person focused on their own little bubble. There was no sharing. It looked like heaven but there was no community at all.
To my right was a very differnt feild. this one was jam-packed with sweaty bodies, each one leaping up an down trying to get someones attention. They screamed about the best form of passive income, the ten steps to seven figures & everyone wanted to tell you how they became a millionaire (in 3.2 seconds & it would only cost you £97 for the secret)
I knew right away that I didn't fit inside that loud feild. The quiet campsite looked fantastic but would they like me if they found out I wanted to do well? I wanted to make more money? Would I be kicked out if I told them I loved to share what had worked for me?
Where was the middle ground?
Why couldn't I make money. Work in a business I loved AND still be a great human with solid values?
I needed to build my own campsite right there in the middle.
In my campsite it was safe to talk about our deepest desires. This was a place where it was safe to share the visions for our business & life.
It was a good thing to talk about money & it was great to add your own personality into your business.
I've been hanging out in that campsite ever since & I want to extend an invite for you to join me.
