remember those nights, crying endless tears and asking God, “Why?” I remember the pain inside; my demons wrestling with my light! My self-esteem was non-existent, my self-worth a distant dream! For most of my life, I lived for everyone around me. My happiness tied to pleasing everyone but me!

I spoke a certain way because it was what was expected of me. I wore certain clothes because people mocked me for my unique style. I raised my children worried about how others would view me as a mother. I stayed in jobs I hated, concerned with what others would think about me “leaving a good job!” My entire life people told me what I "should'' be doing with my life; and my entire life, I've lived pissed off, living for everyone else’s expectations of me! I suffered anxiety and depression because I suppressed who Rose really was, for the idea of me others had. I avoided setting boundaries and taking a stand because I was worried about who I would lose!

What started as a quest to conquer my own insecurities has turned into a system that grew this Rose from the concrete! 

Listen now, I love me some Jesus, and I know that God is the source and center of my help…but I will cuss you out quick if you mess with me or mine! So naw, I’m not perfect, but God didn’t call me to be! He also didn’t call me to be meek! We aren’t supposed to let others just walk all over us cause one thing is for sure, Christian don’t spell F.O.O.L!  I've learned in building my business that it will take ALL of your strength, resilience, and confidence to make it! I had to ADJUST MY CROWN and get BOLD , first with myself, then with those around me! I HAD TO SHOW UP LOUD & PROUD! I have gained RESPECT for being myself! I have gained PEACE for living in my AUTHENTICITY! You are fearfully and wonderfully made. (Psalm 139:14) You deserve to be the best version of yourself, and that starts by doing what makes YOU happy with FIERCE CONFIDENCE! You can do this friend! My mission is to help you show up BOLDLY and CONFIDENTLY—and I'm so glad you're here.

I was honestly scared to death to really show up and participate in #Lightbeamers, so I watched mostly since January. I posted once or twice so I didnt feel so guilty about lurking from the sidelines. (All or nothing kind of girl) My full story terrifes me, however, after this week I feel much more confident breaking it down and sharing pieces, chapters with the world.
