Do I need a PMDD diagnosis to start? +
Not at all. Many women come to me unsure whether what they're experiencing is PMDD or another hormonal pattern. We'll track your symptoms together and figure it out as part of the process. You don't need a label to deserve support.
How is this different from regular therapy? +
I use evidence-based therapies specifically chosen for PMDD β€” DBT, ACT, and Internal Family Systems β€” and every strategy is tailored to your cycle stage. Most therapists treat symptoms in isolation. I treat the whole cycle, and I've lived it myself.
Is counselling covered by private health insurance? +
1:1 counselling sessions are covered by many health funds including BUPA and HCF. I have provider numbers with both. Check directly with your fund to confirm your level of cover for counselling sessions.
What if I can't commit to regular sessions? +
